Lactopole, the city of milk
The Lactopole de Laval is a museum and an educational space of more than 5000 m² and more than 4000 dairy heritage objects and documents. It tells the evolution of the slag business, the rural world and its metamorphosis and explains the journey of milk from its production to its transformation. The Lactopole proposes, over 2 hours, a progressive visiting tour and allows visitors to know everything about the evolution of the dairy world. The museum regularly offers animations and various workshops on cheese making and on taste, for example.
